We are Aires and Jordan, and we’re the ones behind this business. We’re due to get married in 2020 (Covid-19 ruined that, hopefully 2021 now but that doesn't really matter as so many people lost their lives so we are just happy to be healthy), and our aim is simple: to build a business that can help give ourselves and our son, Zach, a better quality of life. However, the other reason is this: we want to eradicate the need for harmful ingredients in our pets hair!
Many ingredients are linked to having harmful long-term effects on our pets, including but not limited to causing cancer. There’s no need for a beauty product to include such items; nature has more than enough in-store for us to stay happy, healthy, and safe. That’s why Mila and Max is all about trying to help people to find ways to help prevent hair loss and boost hair growth naturally.
We’re only involved in selling 100% natural products, which is something we’ll never deviate from. At the same time, we’ve built up a knowledge bank about important ingredients, such as essential oils, that you can learn about. This will be very useful for you if you want to know what you are using, and what the benefits can be. Again, be sure to look for our reference links so that you know exactly what is proven and what is claimed!
The reason we got into this industry, though, is to do with our dogs. We have two adorable dogs, a black Labrador and a Beagle. We were disgusted to find out that the Beagles are the breed of dog which is most commonly tested on by cosmetic firms. Many never even get to experience life in the ‘real’ world.
We wanted to find a way to get products out there which are naturally made and ethically tested. So, if you want to make sure you can care for your pets hair without ethical concerns, you can find what you need through Mila and Max!
Here is our co-founder, Mommy or should I say Jordan (sounds more professional) and our little mascot Zach on his birthday.
Here is our Beagle Mila who is always protesting against animal testing but decided to take the day off because it was her birthday.
This is our labrador Max or Maximus who loves sneaking up on our bed and it is now pretty much his bed.
The story behind Mila and Max, then, is one that we hope you can appreciate.
