Short hair styles for boys and men

For most guys one of the hardest things to get right is your hair. Sure, some guys don’t really care about how their hair looks. For those who do, though, finding a style that is suited to you and your face can take quite a bit of work. How, then, can you go about finding quality short hair styles for boys and men that aren’t generic, boring, or simply going to leave you looking like everyone else?

Here are some safe haircuts to go for that most guys and boys should be able to pull off with minimal hair.

Smart and suave business

This is a simple approach for fellas who have little time and want to make sure they look professional. Going for a hairstyle like this is going to make sure you can have a simple, easy to enjoy haircut. It will also take minimal effort in the morning to get it looking good for school/business, leaving you more time to do important things like sleep and eat a proper breakfast before leaving the house!

Long on top, short on the sides

If you have thick and/or curly hair, then going for something like this hairstyle would make quite a lot of sense for most guys. It’s a good one to go for as it keeps the sides and back of your hair easily manageable. Most men will know that the top is only half the battle; it’s often the sides that make getting your hair to sit nice that can be the main challenge. This hairstyle solves that.

Super-short sides, busy top

Another similar one to the above, but for guys with flat hair, would be this haircut. It’s a tremendous choice because the sides are very short, making it super easy to control. This is very on trend at the moment especially for those who want extra length on the top but want to keep the hairstyle looking neat and tidy.

Top-knot

While you need a fair amount of hair on the top of your head for this, you can get away with having next to nothing on the side and back. Its great for those who are looking for a hairstyle that feels nice and comfortable, but still leaves you with a bit more to your hair than a simple short back and sides approach. For men who want to look more bohemian look, then, this style is one to go for. This is also great for men who want to grow their hair long but maybe the texture is too thick. Cutting the sides short will make controlling the longer length of your hair on top easier.

Fade

Do you have a beard? Then a good way to make your beard work with your hair is to get it faded properly. If you get the hair extremely short between the ears and the top of your hair, like this image, you can get a very cool looking finish. It adds a more modern look to the kind of hair that you might normally go for.

So, which style do you think would be the ideal choice for you moving forward? What do you think would look best for you personally?
