How to grow a beard

As a man, it feels like part of your duty to come up with a quality beard. If you don’t grow a beard at least once in your life, then you are going to really regret it. Today beards are becoming more popular with men of all ages. From artists to celebrities, monks and priests to bikers, beards no longer hold the weird class system that they once did. What, though, is the secret to learning how to grow a thick and strong beard?

Up your Biotin intake

Without doubt, one of the most important supplements to add to your lifestyle is biotin. When taken on a regular basis, biotin is known to help us make sure that our hair on our face and head will grow in faster. This helps to encourage more rapid growth, but also a better quality of growth. If you do this on a regular enough basis you should begin to notice a big difference even in a few short weeks.

Be prepared - Growth takes time

One thing you can’t do is make your beard grow overnight. Beard hairs are usually a lot thicker and stronger than the hair on your head and they do take time to grow in areas that are patchy or thinning especially. You need to be patient when growing your beard and be consistent with the actions you are taking to help your beard grow.

Keep a style

Even when you are waiting for your beard to come in fully, try and style it on a regular basis. Every few days, try and trim your beard and keep it in line with the style you are looking to achieve. You do not want to leave your beard to grow rugged and uneven as it will become very difficult to keep your beard looking full and thick.

Brush and care for your beard

Lastly, make sure that if you want to know how to grow a beard that you start brushing it on a daily basis. This will help keep your beard in good shape giving you a well kept look. Brushing will also help distribute natural oils and help prevent a build up of dry skin. You will also want to take care of your beard by using a nourishing beard oil. This will help keep your beard smooth and tamed.

Although it is not possible for everyone to easily grow a thick strong beard, you will find that following these steps will help you achieve the beard you are looking for.
