Beard Styles for men

For any guy trying to successfully style a beard today, you might have noticed just how challenging it can be. Beards are very hard to get looking good and it can be tough for you to find a look that feels unique to you. Let your beard go untamed and without a clear plan, though, and you can start to look like a ship captain left at sea. To avoid that, we recommend that you try and adjust to the following beard styles for men. It might just help you make your beard work with you, not against you, as a fashion statement.

The business man

The best look to go for if you want something professional is to go for the classic business man. It will take you a few weeks of careful management, usually a with a 3 or 4 guard, to get it right. After a few weeks of bi-daily shaving, though, your beard should have very straight lines to it. It should also feel thick and full, with hedge-like feeling to the actual hairs.

The all-natural

A good way to get a natural beard style is to simply let it continue to. If you do this, then you can be left with a beard that is of fine condition. It might just need you to go around with a trim every few days to catch those wild hairs that sprout out in different directions from the rest, leaving you with a very natural looking beard. Be sure to use beard oils to help reduce frizz. This will help keep your natural looking beard tamed and controlled.

The stubble

Some guys don’t like having a beard that takes any effort, but still want to look cool. If you are this kind of guy, go for a stubble beard. This should take just a few days to bring it in. You need to pick up a trimmer and use the smallest guard that you can. Take it close to the skin, and then you can fade it into your hairstyle and your beard. Basically, a nice, short beard can look good without needing much effort or length.

The hippie

Today, having beards that go way down to the chest and beyond are commonplace. Basically, the only way to get this style of beard is to take several years of continuous growth. You’ll just need to let it keep going naturally, trimming the excessively long hairs that make you look like you have whiskers. For this, though, the main thing is just to let it keep going until it stops! You can also use a bear oil to help improve manageability.

The villain

A good look for most people who want to go for an old-school hipster look is to go for a full beard on the neck and face, whilst keeping your moustache nice and fine. The moustache has to be separate from the rest of the beard and looks best if you get it going with some cool little twirls. Definitely a fine choice for most guys who want to go for something a touch more vintage than most people would typically go for.
